Salt Lake Senate Announces 2023 Spring OTA's Roster
The Salt Lake Senate Football team has officially released the spring OTA's roster for the 2023 season. Fans can expect to see a mix of veteran players and some fresh faces on the field this year.
The team was able to hold several OTAs throughout the spring, allowing them to get an up-close look at all of the players that were vying for positions on the roster. During these OTAs, coaches evaluated each player’s skillset, attitude, and overall potential. They also took into account any previous experience that each player had with other football teams or in various leagues.
The final 55-man roster contains 11 veterans who have been with Senate Football since 2021, as well as 44 new recruits from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels. Most notably, the team has added 13 players from local universities who recently finished their college careers. These young players will be expected to provide a much needed boost of energy and enthusiasm for this upcoming season.
In addition, there are several experienced veterans returning for another year with the team who are sure to provide leadership both on and off the field. The coaching staff is also confident that this combination of young talent and veteran experience will help lead them to many victories this season.
