Senate Brings Back former NFL Player Aaron Wade as Safety and DB Coach
Aaron Wade or as most people know him as Coach Wade was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. His roots to the sport of football began at a very young age of 7 years old. Wade would find himself on the football field as a means of hanging out with close friends. He would soon find himself growing and getting faster at a rate that outpaced his peers and it captured the attention of Newsome high school. He was considered an all around athlete in high school as he earned Florida Class 8A all-District 6 first-team honors following his junior season as he was accounted for 77 tackles, to couple his three interceptions, one fumble recovery , and one forced fumble. He was also a member of the track & field team and earned all-state honors as he finished third in the 100m, fourth in the 200m and was a member of the 4x100 team that finished second at the 4A District 7 championships during his senior season. In 2014 the Florida All-Star would make the decision to come out to Cache Valley to accept his offer with the Utah State Aggies.
In an interview with one of Utah's finest Desert News , Wade was quoted saying "Coach (Wells) gave me a game ball. Back in high school, coach would never give game balls out, even if you did do well. He'd just say, 'Congrats, do your thing.' so that was my first time getting the game ball." Wade would go on to leave a remarkable legacy in Cache Valley as a Safety for the Utah State Aggies. In his senior year with the Aggies he received multiple awards ranging from Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week to tying for first in the Mountain West for interceptions. He also got an interception that was returned for 95 yards in the game against Colorado State which tied for the fifth-longest interception returned in school history. His successful career with the Aggies would lead him to play professional football which included playing for the Cleveland Browns and even playing professional rugby.
In his spare time you can find Wade spending quality time with friends and family, working out, reading a quality book, and finding new ways to always get better. He is an avid fan of the XBOX one ecosystem and you can catch him defeating opponents on and off the field. His biggest motivation is accredited to his family specifically his mother and his children provide a great deal of motivation. Don't be surprised to find Wade back in the NFL as a coach, player, general manager or one day as an owner of a championship team.
